A Special Wellness Ministry Weekend A Weekend of Events for Clergy, Lay Leaders, Parishioners, Youth Advisors, Parents and Youth

Healing and wellness ministries are central in the ministry of Christ and of the Church. Living Compass Faith & Wellness Ministries helps congregations offer ministries of wholeness and wellness to their members, as well as to people in their surrounding communities. Grounded in Scripture and the tradition of the Church, Living Compass provides resources, training, and support to individuals and congregations as they seek to enhance vitality and to live into the abundant life God intends for them.

What to Expect: Be Renewed, Re-Energized, and Re-Oriented! Expect to have fun and be inspired — with an introduction to Living Compass for wellness in heart, soul, strength and mind. Learn an ancient, holistic approach to wellness that is very different from modern approaches to wellness. Explore the deeper connection between spirituality and wellness. Leave with your own personal wellness “map” to help you succeed in taking the next steps toward greater balance and wellness. Learn about developing a Wellness Ministry within your congregration and community.

This Wellness Ministry Weekend at St. Paul’s will also introduce Certified Congregational Wellness Advocate (CWA) training in which you can learn how to enhance your congregation’s vitality by beginning or expanding a wellness ministry in your church. Learn about how to facilitate small wellness groups and lead wellness classes in your community on a breadth of topics including adult, parent, and teen wellness. These trainings are for people excited about integrating faith and wellness in their own lives and helping others to do the same. SUNDAY 8:00 A.M. The Rev. Scott Stoner preaches 9:15 A.M. Adult Forum: Living Compass Ministries. Open to all. Key-Andrews Hall.

Youth Forum: Holly Stoner meets with youth and youth advisors. Open to all. Yo Room.

10:30 A.M. The Rev. Scott Stoner preaches 11:45 A.M. Coffee Hour 12:15 P.M. Next Steps: How to Introduce Living Compass Ministries in your Congregation. Luncheon with Scott and Holly Stoner. $6. Open to leaders from St. Paul’s and other congregations.
