Locomotion Game Day Activity Now that you have completed the pre-registration process, you are ready to just come to the tournament and HAVE FUN!
We will retain the Game Cards you filled in and we will deliver them to the Referees at the field prior to each of your matches. On Game Day, go directly to the Field Monitor (check-in) Station nearest your field. The Field Monitor (check-in) stations are shown on the back cover of every program and maps around the venue. Do not check in at BIG tent. You should get to the appropriate check-in station at least 30 minutes prior to each of your games. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PLAYER REGISTRATION FORMS, PLAYER PHOTO ID CARDS AND COACH PHOTO ID CARDS READY BEFORE EACH GAME! At the check-in station, you should have your medical release forms ready to be confirmed by the Field Monitor. A Locomotion Field Monitor will check in your team and you will be ready for your game. Have your forms and IDs in numeric order by Jersey number
Note: The game schedule is VERY tight, with no time for between-game activities on the fields. There will be no warming up on the field. Once the previous game is completed, you must get your team on the field immediately and in position to start the game. You can warm up in any available open grassy areas. There will be no coin toss. The home team will select which goal they want to defend, and the visiting team will kick off. Where possible, the referee will try to determine this on the sideline before the previous game is completed. Each match must be ended by the referee at the signal from the Field Station. If the game started late or was delayed, there will be no making up for lost time – the game must end at the indicated time.
A very loud horn will indicate to all that it is time for the match to end promptly Game time is forfeit time, all matches will start on time if you are not ready to begin play at the scheduled time you will cause your team a forfeit Immediately at the conclusion of each match, the teams should exchange a quick handshake and then clear the field, AND the sideline, to make room for the next team. The referees will turn in game cards to fields station, they are not to be given to coach, if they are given to you, give them back if possible, if not turn them in to your field station for that game. Be sure that both coaches are wearing their Photo Coaches Badges during all game times, so that our staff can easily identify you. Only coaches wearing their badges will be allowed in the Technical Area and to provide instructions to the players during the game. Thanks for your cooperation, with a good attitude and a hearty smile we will all be able to enjoy ourselves immensely! Sincerely,
