Project Coordination •Coordinated with Takoma Park and MD SHA - Accelerated gas line replacement project - Submission to PSC for approval

•MD STRIDE Accelerated Replacement Program - Allows for more timely upgrades to eligible utility infrastructure - Annual Replacement Program – based on system analysis of historical system trends as well as other factors

Project Scope & Status • Replace approximately 29,350 feet of low pressure steel main and 557 affected services –Increases reliability and safety •Installed 29,350 feet of HDPE plastic gas main and replaced 553 services • Currently abandoning low pressure steel main • Anticipate completion of construction activities by April 2018

Restoration • Property Restoration: – Private property and yards will be restored as close to their original state as possible – If repairs are not made to your satisfaction, please contact NPL at [email protected]

Restoration • Paving: – Road restoration will occur in sections as construction is completed

– There are approximately 200+/- base repairs remaining, mostly on Flower Ave. – Mill and Overlay will take place after all construction and base repairs are complete and as the weather allows. – Traffic control will be handled in a manner as to lessen the impact to the community (manpower, detouring, and signage).

– City of Takoma Park will be notified 72 hours prior to roads being closed , and No Parking signs placed.
