Longarm Quilting Mom’s Sewing Basket provides longarm quilting services. Edge to edge designs are priced at $0.02 per square inch. This price is based on the size of the quilt top. For quilts less than 90” x 90” batting must be at least 4” longer and wider than the top and the backing must be 6” longer and wider than the top. For quilts greater than 90” x 90” add 1” to the backing. To determine the approximate cost, multiply the length in inches by the width in inches. The multiply this total times 0.02. The measurements will need to be verified and the design selected before we can guarantee a price. Samples of quilt designs can be viewed in our store. There is a minimum charge of $30.00. The fabric used for the quilt top must be in good condition since it will be stretched on the machine. The backing needs to be assembled and pressed unless you are purchasing the fabric from our store. Our goal at Mom’s Sewing Basket is to provide you with quality services at an affordable price. With that in mind, we do not usually do custom designs or work on heirloom and antique items, but can suggest other longarm quilters who may. Any custom work accepted will be priced based on the extra work required. We will machine bind your quilt on request for $0.08 per linear inch.
