GENERAL INFORMATION The Longwood Strength and Conditioning clinic for ATHLETES is designed to improve performance on the field and in the gym. The camp will focus on proper technique in the weight room and in speed, agility & conditioning drills. The Longwood coaching staff will emphasize speed, explosiveness, agility, power, strength, flexibility, and mobility. Athletes will receive instruction on many of the same training methods used by top division I athletic programs: dynamic warm up, resistance training with free weights, high intensity plyo-metrics, as well as linear and multi directional speed drills. Get yourself in top physical condition for the upcoming season and be part of the experience here at the “WOOD”. *Athletes will also receive a booklet with a 12 week off season program and camp t-shirt. *Designed for male and female athletes’ grades 7-12 of any sport. *Athletes should be appropriately dressed and ready to participate. Restrooms are available for changing.
