Welcome!

Sunday, October 1, 2017

We’re Glad You’re Here!

Our biggest hope is that you will develop and deepen in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You’re among friends; whether you’re in our worship gatherings, small groups, or ministry opportunities, we have a place for you to be a part of our Faith Family. As you get to know the people of FBC Vandalia, please allow us to serve you by answering any questions you may have by calling 937.898.3801, or stop by Connection Point in the Lobby and introduce yourself. We can’t wait to meet you, and we are so grateful for your visit today!

CONNECTION CARD

Located in the seat backs in front of you, the Connection Card serves as a direct way for guests to share who they are and provides the church an opportunity to follow up with them and share what FBC Vandalia is all about. On the back of the card, we welcome you to share any prayer need or update with our Intercessory Prayer Ministry.

FBC in 10 FBC in 10 is an opportunity (10 minutes or less) for guests to learn more about FBC Vandalia. FBC in 10 will be offered after all three worship gatherings on Sundays. If you’re a guest, please go to Connection Point in the lobby, and our greeters will take you to the FBC in 10 room.

PRAYER Life happens. Fill out the Connection Card with your request and return it to the offering plate, and our staff will pray for you. Elders and Deacons will, also, be available after the service in the Prayer Rooms to pray with you in person. The Prayer rooms are located in the Main Building across from the Preschool Check-in.

For more information or to get involved at FBC Vandalia, check out the FBC Vandalia App or visit our website fbcvandalia.net. Wifi access is under fbc_guest, password “beourguest!”

FAMILY HAYRIDE THURSDAY // OCTOBER 5 // 5:00PM Your family is invited to Windmill Farm on Thursday evening, October 5, at 5:00pm! Reservations are required. Sign up through the app or contact Kathie Parish at 937.898.3801. The cost is $9.00 per child (includes their pumpkin) and $7.00 per adult.

FOUNDATIONS GROUP TODAY // OCTOBER 1 // 1:00PM Our next Foundations group (life group for young married couples) is launching mid October. There will be a Foundations luncheon for any prospective couples today at 1:00pm here at the church. Contact Scott Snyder at [email protected] if you plan on attending.

VANDALIA FOOD PANTRY SUNDAY // OCTOBER 15 We are collecting cereal for the Vandalia food pantry. Please drop off any donations to the bin in the Lobby by October 15.

OPERATION WINTERIZE SATURDAY // OCTOBER 21 We are still in need of $25 gas gift cards or money towards the purchasing of a gift card. This can be dropped off at the Operation Winterize table in the Lobby or dropped in the offering plate – just include a note that it is for Operation Winterize.

ALUMINUM CAN DONATION DONATIONS COLLECTED WEEKLY Cans can be dropped off in the recycling bin at the east end of our church’s main parking lot. Your Aluminum Can contributions help Stamp’N Buddy’s cover expenses like postage, stamps, envelopes and supplies.
