Loughborough University Lacrosse Women’s 1st Team Coach Role Specification Loughborough University Women's Lacrosse Club is in the Premier North Division of the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) leagues and looking to recruit a coach for the 2016-17 season. Loughborough University is located in the East Midlands and is known for its dominance in sport. Please visit the University's website to find out more about Loughborough University: http://www.lboro.ac.uk Term: Part-time 6 month contract from Mid-September to Mid-March which includes a 2 week (approximately) pre-season commitment before the start of Semester 1 in October. Hours: Approximately 2-5 hours a week consisting of weeknight training sessions. Session timings vary between 6pm-10pm, Monday to Friday, plus a Wednesday match. League matches against each team in the BUCS League will be both home and away, so can require availability all day to fit in with transport arrangements. Team transport to and from matches is provided. Salary: Competitive hourly rates. Information The coach will work with the Women's 1st team primarily to deliver structured sessions; He or she should be open to providing practices that support a Strength and Conditioning Programme which may be provided. Requirements: We require an experienced and enthusiastic lacrosse coach who can help develop this ambitious club to reach its goals. They must have a passion for the game and who has ideally coached or played at School, Regional, County, University or International level. Coaching qualifications are ideal, although candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
