Lovejoy XC Fall Festival Saturday September 24, 2016 Location: Myers Park – McKinney http://www.co.collin.tx.us/parks/myers/mpec_back40.jsp Timing: Chip Timing by Run Far Luke’s Locker will be on site to set up start/finish areas. Meet Website: http://lovejoyathletics.com/hq/lovejoy-xc-fall-festival/ Schedule: Rolling Schedule – Times are only estimates 7:00-8:00am Check in -8:00 am VG Division1 (large school) 5k -8:30 am VB Division 1 (large school)5k -8:50 am VG Division 2 (small school) 5k -9:20 am VB Division 2 (small school) 5k -9:50 am JV Girls (all divisions) 5k -10:20 am JV Boys (all divisions) 5k -10:50 am MS Girls 3200m -11:20 am MS Boys 3200m Teams: Boys and girls divisions. Varsity divisions up to 10 runners. Unlimited JV/MS divisions. Multiple varsity teams may compete from same school but squads must be assigned. Small schools may run/register in large school varsity division. Awards:
Team trophy to 1st place and runner-up teams in each division Individual awards to top 20 finishers
Registration: Athletic.net Meet T-Shirts/Concessions: Meet T-Shirts = $15 Concessions as well as Kona Ice snow cone stand will be on site
Fees: Individuals $20 Girls Division $150 (includes Var/JV/MS) Boys Division $150 (includes Var/JV/MS) Teams wanting to run multiple Varsity Teams from one school – ex two Varsity Boys teams – add $50 per additional team. Buses are to enter the park on the north side of the park. At 7:30 we will shut down the
bus entrance road. After that you will have to enter at the showbarns, park behind them in the bus parking lot, and walk your teams to the camp sites. We are expecting a large turn out, so in parking your buses please park as close as you dare so we have spots for all. From Lake Forest, turn right onto CR 166 and left on CR 168. Park entrance will be at the gate off 168. Spectator parking: From Lake Forest Drive please instruct your parents and fans to proceed to FM 1461 and turn right onto CR 165. From 165 turn right on CR 168. Spectator parking will be at the top of the park. By doing this we will alleviate the congestion for the buses. Signs will be present to direct traffic. There will be a dog show at the Show Barns so all spectator parking will be up top. We will try as best we can to shuttle those needing assistance to the start finish area before the racing starts.
