Lowell Alumnae Chapter Newsletter November 2015 I hope everyone is enjoying the mild fall we are having and gearing up for Turkey Day in a few weeks! I wanted to share Alumnae news with you! Enjoy! In the News: Laura Brophy completed a Masters in Education at Bridewater State Anna Martakos is engaged to Corey Lanier Joy Whitbeck gave birth to a son, Dylan on 10/16/2015 Amanda Littlefield gave birth to a daughter, Alice on 7/21/2015 Lauren Wheeles gave birth to a daughter, Mila on 11/9/2015 *All updates were taken from social media by myself so if any updates are missing please submit to [email protected] – moving forward I would love if Alumnae could submit news anytime and it will be used accordingly*
On November 6, 2015 – Collegiate and Alumnae Members came together to celebrate Founders’ Day! Heather Barbieri – the Director of Alumnae Engagement coordinated with Amanda Flores, to plan this fun event/community service project. All sisters were encouraged to bring cans to donate in exchange for raffle tickets to bring to a local food shelter. Sisters also crafted “AST” holiday ornaments to take home. Alumnae were also given a single yellow rose as a sign of sisterhood. To the left is a picture of all attendees.
