SUSTINEO ALAS (I sustain the Wings) The Lowry Foundation is proud to host an event honoring all past Lowry Air Force Base service personnel! Come and join us to share stories and celebrate Lowry’s unique and proud history! All military and civilian personnel and their families who served on the former air force base are invited to attend.
Saturday, July 29, 2017 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM The Old Officers Club (now the Stanley British Primary School) 350 Quebec Street Denver, CO 80230 Event activities include:
✬ Guest speaker: Retired Major General John L. Barry, President and CEO of Wings over the Rockies Air & Space Museum ✬ Lowry Air Force Base History presentation ✬ Historic Tours ✬ A Light Lunch will be provided RSVP – No later than July 21, 2017 to The Lowry Foundation at 303-344-0481 or [email protected] Cost: $12.00 per person (cash or credit card) will be collected at the door the day of the event.
The Lowry Foundation owns and maintains public art in Lowry and the lovely, historic Eisenhower Chapel. The Lowry Foundation is an independent, qualified 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization and relies on your tax-deductible donations to continue our work including our Speaker Series and community grants program. The Foundation intends that its services and operations be self-sustaining and last in perpetuity.
