Becoming the Master of Money You do not serve money. Money serves you. Money is simply an energy that allows freedom: freedom to live out your dreams, freedom to be all that you can be. So, don’t scare away money by saying that there isn’t enough of it. Speak to your money, enjoy your money, and you will find that money loves to be around you and wants to multiply. Say, “Money loves me, and money is my obedient servant.” Unfortunately, many people are ignorant as to how to make money because it’s not a subject that is taught in schools. That ignorance is then passed down from generation to generation. To understand this, there are two important laws of the universe to consider: 1. Everything is in motion. Nothing is at rest. You are either making more money and progressing, or you are going backwards. 2. You reap what you sow. What you put out into the world is what you will get back. Consider for a moment that the piece of paper that you fold up and put into your pocket is not actually money at all. Money is just an idea. The earning of money has nothing to do with this paper stuff. It has to do with consciousness. If you want money, ask for abundance in ALL areas of your life. You must become very comfortable with the idea of money. Watch most people when they talk about money. The average person’s face will change color and their behavior will change when a serious conversation arises about earning money. None of this is so with wealthy people. Wealthy people are aware that money is a medium of exchange, and they treat it as such. They feel very comfortable about it, and they’re fine talking about it.

They keep money in its proper place. One of the biggest causes of poverty is poverty consciousness. The poverty consciousness causes people to see, hear, smell, and feel like a limitation. Because they’re putting that energy out into the world, that’s where they remain. As the famous director Mike Todd once said, “Being broke is a temporary situation. Being poor is a mental condition.” Remember, you are a magnet to money. However, it’s more than just saying that you want more money. You have to think about specifically how much money you want so that you can set goals and provide direction for your mind. You need to be earning money yourself, and your money also has to be working for you. You need multiple streams of income. The idea that you have to work hard or work longer hours to make more money is a myth. Anyone can do it. If you find out what other people want and help them get it, the money will come.
