INTRODUCTION Hi, I'm Michael Nurok and I want to congratulate you on downloading Macro Levels Indicators, Template and Presets. This document will guide you through the installation process, which is fairly easy and straight-forward. It basically consists of copying the files into appropriate folders and restarting your platform afterwards.

INSTALLATION Step 1 – Extract the files from downloaded archive First of all, locate the downloaded MacroLevels.zip file on your hard drive. It is a zip compressed file, which means it has several files inside.
To extract files from MacroLevels.zip archive, simply right-click on the file and choose "Extract Here" (or "Extract All" if you don't have WinZip installed).

After extracting all the files, you will see a new folder called "MacroLevels" was created. Open it and you will find two files and a folder in there:
MacroLevels.ex4 (Macro Levels indicator)
MacroLevels.tpl (template)
Presets (folder that holds presets for 24 currency pairs)

Step 2 – Open the MT4's Data folder Opening your MT4's Data Folder is fairly easy: You need to open your MT4 platform and go to File -> Open Data Folder

Step 3 – Copy the files Now that the files are extracted and Data Folder is open, it's time to copy the files to appropriate folders. First, we'll copy the indicator. Inside your Data Folder, you will see multiple subfolders. Open MQL4 folder, then Indicators folder (that's inside MQL4 folder). Select MacroLevels.ex4 file and copy it (or simply drag and drop it) to the folder you just opened in previous step (Data Folder\MQL4\Indicators).

Next, we'll copy the template. Either open the Data Folder from your platform again or go back two steps from the Indicators folder to get back to your main Data Folder. There you will see a Templates folder. Open the Templates folder and copy MacroLevels.tpl file to your Templates folder.
Finally, we'll copy the presets. Either open the Data Folder from your platform again or go back one step from the Templates folder to get back to your main Data Folder. Open MQL4 folder, then Presets folder (that's inside MQL4 folder). Also, in the second window, open the PRESETS folder from your downloaded and extracted MacroLevels file. Select all files (shortcut is CRTL+A) and copy them (or simply drag and drop them) to the folder you just opened in previous step (Data Folder\MQL4\Presets).

Step 4 – Restart your MT4 Platform In order for the indicators and template to be initialized, you need to close the platform and open it again. After that, simply open up a chart and apply MacroLevels template by going to: Charts -> Template -> MacroLevels or by using the shortcut icon on the toolbar.

APPLYING PRESETS Macro Levels comes with presets for 24 currency pairs. To apply the preset for a certain currency pair, first open the chart for that pair (for example, EURUSD) and apply the MarcoLevels template. Then open up the Properties window for MacroLevels: 1. First go to Charts -> Indicators List (or press CTRL+I) 2. Then select MacroLevels and click "Edit"
Once you've opened up the Properties window for MacroLevels, select "Inputs" tab and click "Load".

After clicking on the "Load" button, your presets folder will automatically be opened. Select the preset for desired pair and click "Open" (in this example I've opened EURUSD chart, therefore I'll select MacroLevelsEURUSD.set).
After clicking on the "Open" button, you'll get back to the indicator Properties window. Simply click "OK" and your loaded preset will be displayed on the chart, which should look like this now:

Settings & Parameters Here's the list of all parameters you can set when using Macro Levels. To access the parameters list, go to the menu and select Charts -> Indicators List (or press CTRL+I). Then from the Indicators List window select Macro Levels and click "Edit". One the Properties window is opened, select "Inputs" tab.
