Your Branded Name Choosing your Branded name can be really simple for some people and for others it can be a long process. We’re here to tell you that it can be fun and simple if you follow these tips and most importantly follow your heart. 1. Think about if you’re Branding your Personal Name or if you’re Branding a company name. Tip > Use the name that you want to Brand out. For Example I wanted to personally Brand ME so I go by personal name, Marquel Russell. It’s as simple as that. 2. Make it Memorable. Make sure that it’s easy to remember. Think about meeting someone in line at the shopping market and someone asks you what your company name is or what your website is. If they can easily remember the Name or Website, you have a green light 3. Run it by a few people you know. This is something that will totally help you. A third party review if you will!

Your Tagline or Slogan A tagline generally represents ‘What you are about’. It helps to define your purpose. For Example, when I was choosing the tagline for my personal brand, I came up with 3 points that spoke to my audience on what we are about: Rapidly Grow Your Business, Profit & Income 1. Think of a Few Benefits & Features that you provide:

3. Think of a result that you/your company has accomplished and in what time frame. For Example ‘From High School Drop-Out to Global Entrepreneur”

Your Image/Look/Logo Most People think they need some extravagant look to impress their
audience but what we’ve found through market testing is that most
people like a clean and simple look. Especially online. Something that I almost always like to portray in my look and feel is Lifestyle, Freedom & Being Authentic. Why? Because I love my freedom and I teach people how to create the business of their dreams by being
themselves.....and I believe in creating businesses around your passion and Lifestyle sells.
1. Think about what kind of feeling you want your audience to feel
when they see your Brand. For Example: Family, Freedom, Health, Wealth, Happiness, Relief, Excitement Etc...
2. Think of a few colors that you would like to have present around your Brand
3. Use Your Personal Portrait or Logo. Get some pictures together that you can
use for your Branding. Remember people do business with people that they feel
they know, like and trust. Make sure you like your photos because they should stay consistent. You can also get a Logo Created by Aj Hailey (AjHailey.com) If you are going to use a logo I would also include a personal portrait of you as the owner of the company (This builds incredible trust)

Your Specialty Your job with Branding is to become an Expert! What is your specialty that you want to focus on with your audience? It’s really important for this to be Focused and Exact. For Example I personally know how to do pretty much everything when it comes to online marketing, blogging, Facebook marketing, SEO, Target Marketing, Online Advertising, Branding etc. BUT it’s VERY dangerous to be a ‘Jack of all Trades’ when you’re creating your Brand. You want to be very laser targeted on 1 or 2 different specialties and THAT’S IT. What Do You Want to Be Known For? Your Goal is to be on the top of your audiences mind when they think of (Fill in the Blank) Write Down 1-3 Specialties that you have or your want to be connected to your Brand. Think about what your target audience wants and how you can come to the rescue with Your Specialty

Your Competitive Edge I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer” You’ve got to know who your competitors are and how you’re different. This helps you to ‘Anticipate and Eliminate’ any objections people may have in doing business with you! This is exactly how you are going to stay ‘Ahead of the Game’ 1. List a few close competitors to you and your Brand:

Your Offer As much as your image represents your Brand, Your Offer represents your Brand just as much. It’s WHAT you’re putting your reputation and Branded name to. People will associate with that just as much. For Example, I’ve represented a few different products and services and when people hear those
names they also associate my name to those Branded names. So you can see that this is very important.
Your Offers are very important because they are how you’re going to make a ton of money online so choose wisely!

Your Values & Your Story We’ve been creating a common thread in saying that People do Business with whom they know, like and trust.
The more you can portray your story and message the more people can get to know you and feel more comfortable handing over their credit card! Most people have an incredible story and the trick is just getting it out! A friend of mine was searching for a Realtor to sell her house online and she always looks for professionals that have good marketing in place. She came across this one realtor (there were 100’s) and for
some reason she immediately picked the phone up and called him. She never called any of the others that she came across......She
started thinking about why this one was different and when she
looked at his site she saw a big smiling picture of him with a really
good write up about his experience and family life in the area. He got personal on his site and she said in her head “this guy seems like a nice family guy that I trust”
