Remove magazine bottom cover with a flat screwdriver and take out the guts. (Beware of the spring) Drill 1/8” hole on FRONT face of magazine about 3/16” from bottom edge and centered in the width. (Fig 1) Insert screw through inside and screw on plastic tip. Tighten with screwdriver. Replace guts and bottom cover.

Drill or poke a 1/16 diameter hole through either edge of the magpul. Insert screw and washer from the inside and screw the tip on until tight. Slip magpul onto magazine with tip facing the front.

(Fig 1) Insert screw through inside and screw on the plastic tip. Using a saw, Dremel, or utility knife, cut a notch in the follower for the screw head to clear.
