___________________________________________________ Date of Release: May 6, 2016 A felony arrest warrant has been issued for Ruben Duran Munoz in connection to the shooting of John Kai Jr. that occurred on May 4, 2016. Munoz is wanted for attempted murder and aggravated assault. Munoz is considered armed and dangerous. Suspect Information:

Date of Release: May 5, 2016 The name of the victim in the shooting is John Kai Jr. of Marana. Mr. Kai remains in stable condition. Ruben Duran Munoz (63 years old) remains a person of interest in this case. Marana Police are asking anyone who has information as to his whereabouts, please call the Marana Police Department at 520-382-2000 or 88-CRIME.
Date of Release: May 4, 2016 On May 4, 2016 at approximately 11:10 am, Officers from the Marana Police Department responded to a business in the 6000 block of West Arizona Pavilions Drive reference a person who had been shot. When Officers arrived, they located one victim who had sustained a gunshot wound, and discovered the suspect had fled from the location. Detectives arrived on scene and initiated the investigation. At this time, this investigation is still ongoing. Ruben Duran Munoz (63 years old) is wanted for questioning in reference to this incident.
