Auburn Municipal Civil Service Minutes –Monthly Meeting Monday, March 12, 2018 – 6:30pm Commissioner Hardy called meeting to order. Roll Call – Civil Service Clerk Jeffrey Whiting took the roll call. Present were Commissioner Jack Hardy, Commissioner Laurie Turo, and Commissioner Tricia Kerr. Also present were Police Chief Shawn Butler, Fire Chief Joseph Morabito, and Firefighter candidate requesting restoration to eligible list. Approve minutes of Regular Meeting February 12, 2017. Commissioner Kerr motioned to approve minutes with the removal of a duplicate item. Commissioner Turo 2nd. Carried 3-0. New Business
Discussion of candidate’s request to be restored to Firefighter #60-537 eligible list. Commissioner Kerr motioned to restore candidate to eligible list. Commissioner Hardy 2nd. Carried 3-0.
Discussion of minimum qualifications of Police Sergeant. Commission Turo motioned to change minimum qualifications to five years as Police Officer. Commissioner Kerr 2nd. Carried 3-0.
Approval of Police Sergeant #78-647 examination announcement. Commissioner Kerr motioned to approve the examination announcement with Anticipated Eligibility changes added. Commissioner Turo 2nd. Carried 3-0.
Approval of open competitive Custodian #20-181 examination announcement. Commissioner Turo motioned to approve the examination announcement. Commissioner Kerr 2nd. Carried 3-0.
Approval of promotional Custodian #20-182 examination announcement. Commissioner Turo motioned to approve the examination announcement. Commissioner Kerr 2nd. Carried 3-0
