We know peace is seen as the desire of God for us from cover to cover of scripture. The peace God offers, real and lasting peace, isn’t the same kind of peace the world craves. As we see our call to be peacemakers in Matthew 5:9 we must remember to strive for peace on God’s terms and no one else’s.
