PurpleMash - this is 2Simple’s online space where children can enjoy their creative experiences anywhere and at any time. Children can use the website to access a variety of 2Simple software, including maths games; develop their typing skills and develop their creativity by using the art section of the site. Fiction Express – this website enables children to engage with their favourite authors in a unique and original way by allowing them to contribute to the plot of the stories read. Fiction Express for Schools e-books are published in weekly chapters at 3 pm (UK time) each Friday. At the end of every cliffhanging chapter there are voting options to decide where the plot should go next. The readers have the following Monday and Tuesday to read each chapter in school or at home, and will vote by 3 pm on Tuesday afternoon. The author then writes the next chapter, in ‘real time’, according to what the readers chose. Finally, Curriculum Visions a site provided by the Shropshire Library Service which will support children with their homework across the curriculum.
