Tools Needed

1/16” Allen Wrench ½” Socket or Wrench Potentiometer Adjuster Phillips Head Screwdriver 1/8” Allen

Default voltage setting is 220VAC, 50Hz Ideal potentiometer setting produces 250 RPM at lowest speed Potentiometer should be adjusted counter-clockwise to correct setting to 60Hz requires no more than a 1/16th turn adjustment

1) Remove handle from side of unit using 1/8” Allen. 2) Remove cover by removing (4) Phillips head screws from inside frame. 3) Using 1/16” Allen, remove set screw from speed control knob. 4) Using ½” wrench, remove locking nut from speed control and dislodge control from side cover. 5) Plug in machine, turn on to lowest setting, record output DC voltage of red and black wire from speed control to terminal block. 6) Orient the control so that the label is facing down. Potentiometer adjustment hole is in upper right section of control. 7) Make counter-clockwise adjustment to potentiometer to increase low-end voltage to 45VDC. Adjustment is minor, 1/16 turn max. 8) Reassemble
