Class Description: Come join us to make this fun bag using a "Cut Loose Press" pattern design. Lots of room for all your classroom needs or, use for an emergency diaper bag! Supplies Needed: Marvelous Midi Messenger Bag Pattern (CTH#9831915) • ¾ yard material for Body and Flap of bag (• if you want the inside pockets and strap to be the same color as the bag outside and flap increase to 1 ½ yards) 3/8 yard material for lining and cell phone pocket • 2/3 yard material for inside pockets and strap (• if you wish to have them contrast your other materials, but not necessary if you want the inside pockets and strap to match the outside of the bag) 1 yard fusible fleece (CTH#987) 3/8 yard Décor Bond (CTH#809) Creative Grid 24 ½ x 6 ½ Ruler (CTH#560057) Creative Grids Non Slip Curved Corner Cutter Ruler (CTH#560149) Thread to match or Contrast Walking Foot for your sewing machine ¼” Foot New Universal 80/12 Needle or Microtex 70/10 for Batiks Rotary Cutter with sharp Blade – Cutting Mat Scissors – pins – seam ripper Sewing Machine in Top running order Optional but nice: Travel iron and ironing pad Pre Class Work: Follow the cutting directions found on the front of your pattern, and label all of your pieces!!
