Nineteenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France and 4. Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty 5. Five Before Rupert Dovey Gent Steward of the said Manor and in the presence of Elizabeth Brett and Richard 6. Fowler two of the Copyholders or Customary Tenants of the said Manor. 7. To this court comes John Simonds Eldest Son and Heir of Humphrey Simonds late of Oleington in the parish of Kidderminster in the County of 8. Worcestershire Husbandman who was Unkle and Heire of Sarah Simonds Spinster deceased who was Daughter of Thomas Simonds late of 9. Stourbridge in the County of Worcester Barber Surgeon and younger brother of the said Humphrey Simonds in his proper person in 10. full court and desires to be admitted Tenant to all that Messuages or tenements situate and being in Tunwell otherwise Cork Street 11. in Wolverhampton aforesaid late in possession of George Wollaston and now of William Perkes Gent and to all these two other 12. messuages or tenements situate and being behind the aforesaid messuages in a place ?called Bache’s Fold late in the possession 13. of Richard Handley and John Latham and now in the possession of John Pearson and David Stert and to all those other 14. little tenements situate in Bache’s Fold aforesaid adjoyuning (adjoining) to the aforseaid tenement late in the possession of the ... 15. said John Latham and now in the possession of Henry ?Parsonege Elizabeth Young and John Simonds and with the priviledge 16. Use and benefit of the Pump standing and being in Bache’s Fold aforesaid paying at all times a reasonable share of the 17. charges of repairing the same when required. And also the priviledgs and permission to pass and repass with Horses Carts 18. and carriages in by into and out of Bache’s Fold from John’s Lane and with Horses to go through the said fold called Bache’s 19. Fold from John’s Lane into the said Street called Tunwell or Cork Street and all Ways Waters Watercourses profitse 20. Easments Emoluments priviledges hereditaments and appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in any 21. Wise appurtaining And to all other copyhold or Customary Messuages lands and tenements and premisses within that 22. said Manor which were surrendered to the said Sarah Simonds at a Court Baron held on 23. the Eleventh Day of May one thousand seven hundred and thirty one on which the said Sarah Simonds died 24. Seized and which did or ought to decend by right of inheritance to the said John Simonds and also to have seizin thereof 25. and he hath seizin thereof by the Rod according to the Custom of the said Manor To Have and To Hold unto the 26. said John Simonds his heirs and Assigns for ever according to the said Mannor by the rents Herriotts and 27. all other services therefore due and of right Accustomed and the said John Simonds gave to the lord 28. for a Relief made his fealty and was admitted accordingly given under the hand and seal of the said 29.
