Pleated Zippered Pouch I am happy to share the tutorial that we use over and over to successfully make many zipper pouches Pleated pouch free tutorail The photos make it very easy to follow this complex process of creating zipper sandwiches!! Thanks SKIP TO MY LOU! Using a contrasting zipper that picks up the blue bird was fun! Stitching the ribbons on the top border is perfect
TIP: To stitch the ribbons on the fabric, you can either select a color coordinated thread or a transparent monofilament thread- in which case use a looser thread tension in your sewing machine

Small Drawstring Gift Bag We chose to make this one with the lovely turquoise hand dyed wool by Sue Spargo No lining necessary, the wool is perfect inside and out! We cut a piece 12” long by 5” wide, folded 3/4” on top and stitched along side 1/2” seam allowance. That’s all! Christmas Ornaments We all remember making a yoyo most likely, this is a ribbon version of a yoyo ! You can stitch 2 ribbons together, then baste with long stitches at one bottom and pull till it is all tight.
