Greyson Bryce Gist was born at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC on July 1, 2016 at 8:36 a.m. to Mickey and Faith Gist. Our little heart warrior passed peacefully in his mother’s arms on Wednesday night September 14, 2016 in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Our beautiful baby boy touched the lives of so many in such a brief time and we are so proud of how hard he fought.
So go and run free with the angels Dance around the golden clouds For the Lord has chosen you to be with him And we should feel nothing but proud Although he has taken you from us And our pain a lifetime will last Your memory will never escape us But make us glad for the time we did have Your face will always be hidden Deep inside our hearts Each precious moment you gave us Shall never, ever depart So go and run free with Paw Paw Moses As he sings so tenderly And please be sure to tell him To take good care of you for me.
Greyson is survived by his parents and his brother Dallas Jadon Gist (3) of Columbia, SC, his Grandmother Mattie H. Johnson of Winnsboro, SC and his Aunt Carla (Jason) Williams of Spartanburg, SC.
