Dear MABRL Families: Have you ever experienced the thrill of hitting a home run? You can certainly do that now by swinging at this unprecedented pitch from our league! Any player that signs up for the 2018 MABRL Spring Season before January 1, 2018 will receive THREE FREE MONTHS of winter workout training at the Sportika Baseball Facility in Freehold. This opportunity - which no other league can even dream of offering - is now available to all our players, age 6 thru Senior League - who register any time before the new year. This latest baseball "bonus" is all part of our ongoing efforts to prepare our boys to become better baseball players, without having our families incur any additional costs. For the past three years we have been listening to feedback from parents, players and coaches, all of whom wish to see our league improved on competitive, practical, and aesthetic levels. We have responded! We now have numerous innovative and construction projects that will benefit our players like never before. These additions include: • Revitalizing our Fall Ball and Senior League programs • Building new and safer dugouts for our boys • Giving Toomer Field several professional-grade makeovers that make the field smoother to play on and better able to withstand weather • Building a press box complete with a new public address system for the purpose of having announcers call special games • A massive ordering of new equipment to include helmets, catcher's gear, etc. • A refurbished snackstand • New pitching machines • A new storage shed You may ask yourself what does this "bonus" mean for myself and my son. Well, now you have access to: • Indoor Batting cages • Turf fields for fielding practice • Pitching and Catching clinics • Coaches who will be following winter workout programs not unlike the programs that travel teams follow • Players will be grouped according to age • Workouts will be held Saturdays and Sundays starting at 5:00pm • As a parent you will see how training facilities operate and be confidant moving forward on how you would like your son to be trained You will be contacted by a coach who will be in charge of your son's age group. He will answer all questions you may have and provide you with all pertinent information. Now the ball is in your hands. If you have always wanted more training for your son and were unsure of how to go about it, or you couldn’t find the time due to work demands, or maybe you just simply felt you could not incur the costs involved, now is the time to take the next step!
