Welcome to the 2018 Golden Bullet Championship Match hosted by the Shasta Shooters Practical Pistol Club. This year’s match is dedicated to the memory of Ray Abernathy. Ray left the range in May 2017. Ray was a long-time member of Shasta Shooters and continued to contribute to the club in a meaningful way even when he couldn’t participate in the match. Ray was a very active shooter and range officer having participated in USPSA National and regional matches as a competitor, chrono official and Chief Range Officer. Ray was a huge advocate of our sport and was always available to assist and teach new shooters. Ray is sorely missed by our entire club and all who worked with him.
The GBC team responsible for putting this match together includes the Match Staff and Shasta Shooters board listed below. These folks among others and all of the Range Officers have donated a significant amount of their time and talents to make this a successful match. We hope you have safe and successful match.
