May 16, 2018 What is Hudson Valley Gives? Hudson Valley Gives, on May 1 6, 2018, is our region’s third annual day of giving. This 24-hour online fundraising event, fueled by the power of social media, celebrates the commitment of local nonprofits to make our Valley a better place to live, work, play and serve. It unites charities and donors in a fun and engaging initiative to support animal welfare, arts and culture, education, the environment, health and human services, recreation, youth, volunteerism and more. Hudson Valley Gives will raise money and awareness for so many important local causes. Contest prizes and matching donations will be offered all day long to participating nonprofits as incentives for their donors to give generously from 12:01 AM to 11:59 PM .
