The Big Week June 4-11, 2017 Go online now at www.firstalbany.org to register your family. Things will kick-off at our June 4 worship service and conclude with worship on June 11. June 4-8 from 5:30 to 8:00 we will have a snack supper at 5:30 then visit God’s Gear Shop, learning more about His desires for our relationships with Him and with others. There will be a mission opportunity on Saturday morning, June 10 to put into practice Christian principles we have learned.

OnGoing & UPCOMING EVENTS Mission Friends, RAs and GAs parents: Please bring individually wrapped baked goods for our sale next Wednesday night, May 31st during our Boilin’ For Missions night. Boilin' For Ministries & Missions, Wednesday, May 31st Join us for a Low Country Boil 5:00pm-6:20pm followed by a Bake Sale & Auctions (live & silent). All proceeds will benefit summer mission trips & children's & students' summer camps. Anyone who has an item they would like to donate for the auction, please let Gayle Rizer or Kathy Mims know (229883-8000 or [email protected]) by Monday, May 29th. All items need to be handmade, homemade, or new/very gently used. Volunteers Needed, June 1st, 7:00pm We are looking for a few people to help with a meal on Thursday night, June 1st for the Robert Harvey Elementary School staff at Turner Job Corp. Honduras Mission Trip, June 19th-26th There are several ways you can help with the mission team that is going to Honduras this summer. Here is a list of items they would like to take with them: children’s clothes, tennis shoes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, small toiletry items, small Spanish Bibles, old cell phones, batteries (AA, AAA, 9 Volt, C & D), and reading glasses. Your financial support and prayers are always welcome! Items Needed For Camp Hawkins Mission Trip, June 13th-18th The following items are needed by the Camp Hawkins mission team: heavy duty plastic flatware (spoons & forks); sturdy divided paper plates; zip lock bags (sandwich, quart, gallon, two gallon); heavy duty 39 gallon trash bags; tall kitchen trash bags; 16 oz. plastic cups. We will also need homemade baked goods (cookies and cakes) to use for snacks & desserts. NO peanut or peanut products please! Baked goods are to be brought in Sunday morning, June 11th.
