I’m Still Praying for One ... … and I have no intention of stopping! I’ve seen the same resolve in you! No surprise, God is still answering our prayer and is showing us people each day who are in desperate need of His love! Some of you have been inviting your “one” to worship or to Life Group or to the Easter Egg hunt. Way to go! “God give me one person today who needs to know your love.” There are people all around us every day who need to know they are priceless in God’s sight – and we have the happy privilege of letting them know. Have you ever seen someone’s face when they first learn there is nothing they can do to make God love them more, and there is nothing they can do to cause God to love them less? God, give me one. I am excited about simply trying to be aware of and open to whomever God brings into my path each day. I’m excited about the promise of godly changes in my life – and in yours. But mostly, I’m excited about seeing lost people come to know Jesus! “God, give me one … ANYone. I don’t care who it is... rich or poor, old or young, brown, black, red or white, religious or irreligious, I don’t care who it is... just give me one person today who needs your love. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.” “Pray for One” author, Bo Chancey makes a profound point, surely worth considering: Praying for One is active repentance. As you pray for One, your primary desire begins to change. You are moved beyond prayers for self and personal kingdom building. Praying for One takes the focus off of self and puts it onto building Christ’s eternal Kingdom. God’s will becomes clear. Confusion is eliminated as you begin to desire what God desires. His good, pleasing, and perfect will is to seek and save the lost. Praying for One thrusts you into the middle of God’s will, and life explodes with passion and purpose. Tips on Praying for One Pray for 1 @ 1. Set your alarm for 1:00 PM every day and ask God to give you one. Wear a “Pray for One” silicone bracelet. You will find these in the foyers at FCC. They are free, so please take one and wear it as a reminder. If you have a great “pray for one story” or if you think of ways to promote and encourage the rest of us to pray for one, please contact us at [email protected].

Their prayer request is, "For bridges to be built and for us to be diligent in crossing those bridges with God's message of eternal hope and forgiveness." Volunteer Spotlight Floral Arrangements, Event Decorations & More Thank you, Jerral Howard, for sharing your "special touch" throughout the church building, especially with the flowers in the worship center. There is no doubt that he follows the guide described in Colossians 3: 23, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men." A special thank you to all his helpers, too! We appreciate all that you do!
