MECHANICSBURG AREA PARKS & RECREATION MREC Grass Volleyball League 2016 Dates: May 31-Aug 4, Play-offs included Tuesdays, Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles & Women’s Quads Wednesdays, Co-Ed Doubles Thursdays, Gender Blind Quads (any mix of men & women) *Any cancelations due to inclement weather will be played on the next available Monday evening at the same time. Time: 6:15 & 7:15 game start times Location: Mechanicsburg Middle School Fields, 1750 S. Market Street, Mechanicsburg Cost: $80/team Doubles, $160/team Quads - After April 22 $100/team Doubles, $180/team Quads

Quads – three games Doubles – best of three Teams will keep their own score and record their score on the clipboard. There will be no court monitors Quads must have 3 players to play, otherwise the game will result in a forfiet No let serves No hand setting over the net No open-hand receive (serve, rolls, free ball, etc) Only a hard driven ball can be received open hand, i.e. beach dig No cleats/spikes permitted; turf shoes permitted No person is permitted to make contact with the net There is no violation for under the net unless the player interferes with the opposing team in which case it is a side-out. If any contact is made, it is an immediate violations regardless of interference.
