On Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, Visit Anaheim, the destination marketing organization (DMO) for Anaheim and Garden Grove, staged “A Day in Anaheim” event inviting Vancouverites to escape the cold and soak up the California sun. Visit Anaheim took over Vancouver’s indoor beach volleyball venue, 6 Pack Beach and transformed it into a sunny Californian experience complete with palm trees and blue skies! The free family-friendly event included a variety of interactive activities including beach volleyball, face painting, bouncy castle, treats, games on the sand, movies on the beach, food truck fare and much more! Attendees had the chance to win prizes including a grand prize trip to Anaheim.
