University of Indianapolis campus, was a member of the Class of ’42. He went on to serve the University from 1947 to ’77 as a highly respected and well-loved teacher, coach, and administrator. Although he coached several sports, his greatest success was in basketball, where he had only three losing seasons in 30 years. Coach of the Indiana high school boy’s All-Star Basketball Team for 17 years, Nick was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, the Helms Foundation of Fame, and the University of Indianapolis Athletic Hall of Fame.

“Nick believed that participation in athletics was an important part of achieving a well-rounded education,” explained his widow, Bea. Proceeds will benefit the University of Indianapolis golf and basketball programs.
Registration for the 2014 Angus Nicoson Memorial Golf Outing Cost is $90 per person. Cost for the dinner only is $15 per person. Entry deadline is Thursday, July 17, 2014. In the event of tournament termination or cancellation because of weather, unused meal money will become donations to the events proceeds, the prizes will be distributed by lot, and all participants will receive a rain check from Dye’s Walk Country Club.
