Oversized K1 Regulator Valve Tool Kit
NOTE: Sonnax “F-Tool” kits designed to service a specific bore require the VB-FIX, a self-aligning valve body reaming fixture. More information and instructions can be found online at www.sonnax.com.
1. Disassembly a. Remove fasteners from valve retaining plate. Set fasteners and plate aside for reuse. b. Remove and discard OE K1 regulator valve. c. Remove OE spring and save for reuse. CAUTION: Valve trains in adjacent bores will be unsecured with plate removed. Be sure to remove and label adjacent CAUTION valve trains to ensure correct reassembly of each valve train.
2. Bore Reaming Ream K1 regulator bore (for reaming instructions/reamer care, please visit www.sonnax.com). Sonnax reaming tool kit F-88740-TL8 and VB-FIX are required for this operation.
d. Reinstall valve trains from adjacent bores. e. R einstall OE retaining plate and secure with OE fasteners. Torque to OE specification. 4. Final Testing Vacuum testing at the port(s) indicated holds the recommended minimum 18 in-Hg.

3. Installation & Assembly a. Clean valve bore and valve body thoroughly, removing all debris. b. Reinstall OE spring.
