pure. A full of range of flexible solutions complete with reject devices to remove the smallest metal contaminants from bulk flowing materials of a very fine grain size to large particulates. S+S Bulk Flow metal detectors come with standard pipe connections for simple, easy integration into existing lines. With designs that comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, bridging clogging and the formation of material deposits are prevented. Time-saving cleaning is possible with our designs that meet the stringent hygiene requirements of the food industry. Our solutions include metal detectors that are easily integrated into horizontal, vertical or inclined vacuum and pressure conveying lines. These solutions are fully automatic and remove all types of metal particles from pneumatic lines. Modularity in design allows for these systems to be adapted for a wide range of applications from granulate materials to fine powders. To supplement our bulk flow metal detectors, S+S provides optional Magnetic Separation Solutions that remove ferrous materials from the process, enhancing the Product Purity. These devices are designed to easily fit onto an S+S metal detector and meet the stringent hygiene requirements in the food industry with optional Easy Clean capability.
P-SCAN RG Metal Detector Circular-aperture P-SCAN RG metal detectors are used in high-sensitivity applications where food safety is the strictest. P-SCAN RG coil technology delivers consistent performance throughout the aperture with a minimal metal free zone. Ideally suited for installation in snack foods and other VFFS applications or pressure and suction pipe systems.
RAPID 4000 The Rapid 4000 is used for applications requiring higher scanning sensitivities on medium particulate products such as coffee or nuts. Electrically conductive components (product effect) are compensated, and standard pipe connections allow quick and easy installation.
RAPID 5000 The Rapid 5000 metal detector was developed for the high demands in the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Above all, its mechanical design is engineered for the hygienic requirements needed in applications such as milk or baby food powder and pharmaceutica and pharmaceutical ingredients. With the optional "Easy Clean" reject swivel function, the complete reject device is easily accessible for cleaning during product change-over.
RAPID 6000 The Rapid 6000 metal detector removes metallic contaminations by means of a swivel hopper. The conveying flow is interrupted for a very short time. This reject device is ideal for coarse-grained, flaky, light, fibrous, brittle, and lumpy bulk materials.
GF 4000 GF 4000 metal detector for pneumatically conveyed bulk materials, e.g. granulate, powder or flour, comes complete with a reject flap (“Quick Flap System“), suitable for high conveying speeds.
RAPID 8000 The compact Rapid 8000 metal detector is designed for high throughput capacities up to 16'' pipe systems. It can be universally used for inspecting a wide range of products from powdery, fibrous, through to granular, and features a dust-proof reject outlet.
