10 years Origins

A Côte de Beaune appellation which takes its name from the village of Meursault. The vineyards extends over 365 hectares with 95% given over to white wine and 25% classified as Premier Cru. Vinification and maturing

Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place over several weeks, with daily stirring to free the aromas. The wines then mature in the same casks for 15 to 18 months, 30% of the casks being new oak. Vintage : 2013

Defying all weather forecasts, capricious Mother Nature never let up. After a long winter, a gloomy spring and a fine providential summer, for the most part, the pickers had to wait until the start of October to take up their secateurs. The consequences of the weather's whims – such as shatter and millerandage, hail damage, concentration and disease – all had an impact on the quantities harvested. Across the region, no winegrowing area was spared. Some had very low yields with volumes equal or even less than those recorded in 2012. Fortunately, the first tastings suggest that 2013 is a very successful vintage. Once again, experience has made all the difference.
