Scholarships for Mexicali Baptist Seminary Goal: $750 per student About this Mission Project What does it cost to go to seminary? In the U.S., at the average for one year is $11,000. At the Mexicali Baptist Seminary in Baja, Mexico, it costs $750 for a year! Imagine - $750 will pay for tuition, room & board. But that amount is still out of reach for most of the seminary students in Mexico who often come from homes and churches with very limited resources. Transportation costs to and from the seminary each week are covered by the students and the churches in which they are serving, leaving little extra money for seminary expenses. Mexicali seminary scholarships make it possible for young men and women to follow God's call in their lives as they study to become pastors and church planters in Mexico. José Carlos (shown right) is a 2010 seminary graduate thanks to scholarships. He is now serving the Eliezer Baptist Church of Maneadero as pastor.
