DRAFT DAY TRADES • June 19, 1984: Tim McCormick was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round (12th pick) of the 1984 NBA Draft. He was traded by the Cleveland Cavs with Cliff Robinson to the Washington Bullets for Melvin Turpin. McCormick was then traded again by Washington with Ricky Sobers to the Seattle Supersonics for Gus Williams. • June 28, 1988: Gary Grant was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics in the first round (15th pick) of the 1988 NBA Draft. He was then traded by Seattle with a 1989 first-round draft pick (Kenny Payne) to the Los Angeles Clippers for Michael Cage. • June 30, 1993: Chris Webber was drafted by the Orlando Magic in the first round (first pick) of the 1993 NBA Draft. He was then traded by Orlando to the Golden State Warriors for Anfernee Hardaway, a 1996 first-round draft pick (Todd Fuller), a 1998 first-round draft pick (Vince Carter) and a 2000 first-round draft pick (Mike Miller). • June 30, 1993: Eric Riley was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the second round (33rd pick) of the 1993 NBA Draft. He was then traded by Dallas to the Houston Rockets for Popeye Jones. • June 24, 1998: Robert Traylor was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks in the first round (sixth pick) of the 1998 NBA Draft. He was then traded by Dallas to the Milwaukee Bucks for Pat Garrity and Dirk Nowitzki. • June 28, 2000: Jamal Crawford was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round (eighth pick) of the 2000 NBA Draft.
