MI Rush Select Program (boys) • MI Rush players will continue to be registered with their local branch team. The MDL opportunity will offer an additional avenue for player development. • MDL (Midwest Development League) Programming available for boys in the following age groups: ’05, ‘04, ‘03, ‘02, ‘01, ‘00/99 teams. • Objective of this Michigan Rush Select program is to bring our top players together to train and play together in the MDL League as the Michigan Rush Select program. • MDL Member Clubs: MI Rush, Nationals (MI), Beadling (PAW), SCS United (PAW), Rovers (KY), Cup (OH), Crew (OH), & Internationals (OH)
MI Rush Select Program (boys) • Identification Process: Recommended player pool by respective age group coach or DOC. Pending the number of players interested high school aged boys teams will be invited to the summer camp in Northville lead by college coaches, July 24-27th. Staff will evaluate players at the camp. 04 & 05 boys may have a session directly after tryouts to compare players for roster spots. • Player pool max 26. Our goal is 20 players. •

Commitment Level: Anticipated # of Contacts- 7 trainings per season & 7 games per season. League format for games is strictly 1 game per day. Location: Training & home games are expected to be at NCP; Northville. Based on roster compositions and other available sties, the team coach may select an alternative site.
MI Rush Select Program (boys) • Travel: Games schedules are TBD. Interested families should anticipate out-of-state travel commitment for a mix of home games & away games. • Scheduling: We will work internally between our Rush Select coach & our team coaches to avoid double booking players between a local Rush branch game & a Rush Select game. • Only fall & spring (2 season) teams: 04 & 05 age groups. High school aged teams will play MDL in the spring only. • Cost: $350 per player, per season.

US soccer is continuing to stress the importance of futsal in the scope of player development.
