PROPERTY INFORMATION LOCATION:

The Middlefield Farm owns one share of North Poudre Irrigation Company. The farm rents water for irrigation from the North Poudre Water District in the annual amount of 200 to 300 acre feet at the annual rate of approximately $5.00 per acre/ft., depending on snow fall. Four miles of fencing are used for front horse pastures and corrals. The fencing comes in 20 ft sections from Lynn Steel Fencing with 6 bar steel and pipe posts set in 36 inches of concrete. Waterford high tensile 5 wire electric fencing is used for rotational grazing of pastures with over two miles of this fencing. There are seven to nine strand high tensile “Norwegian” type fencing extensively used throughout the farm. This type of fencing creates eight pastures to the East of the Show/ Sale Barn.
