It reminds of us of polka-dots, peppermint candies, and antique transfer ware. The Winter holidays of Christmas and Valentine’s Day just wouldn’t be the same without red and white. In the spring of 2012 we went to 7KH,QÀQLWH9DULHW\6KRZ 7KUHH &HQWXULHVRI5HGDQG:KLWH4XLOWV that was sponsored by the American Folk Art Museum. This truly special show whetted our appetite and we started sketching fabric and quilts as we toured the Park Avenue Armory. 0LGZLQWHU5HGV and the accompanying quilts is our homage to this inspirational show.
