A word about Mike Carroll
Your Support Makes a Difference
It is difficult to overstate the importance of the late Michael A. Carroll to the birth and development of the athletics program at IUPUI. For more than a decade, he was its number one advocate, fundraiser and cheerleader. In 1981, he organized what is now the Jaguars Athletics Club. A year later, he coordinated the IUPUI fund-raising golf outing that now bears his name.
The IUPUI Athletics Department strives for success on and off the field and is committed to providing a first-rate athletics experience to all studentathletes. We invite your business to join our 14 Division I athletic teams as we continue to build a tradition of athletic and academic excellence. IUPUI athletics, “Where Champions are Made!”. Here are some examples of the “Champions” being produced:
IUPUI has 14 sports with over 200 student-athletes with 78.1% of our student-athletes from the state of Indiana (182 of 233) – most among any in-state Division I school

The jaguars Athletics Club is IUPUI Athletics’ annual fund-raising program. Contributions are used to support scholarship expenses for more than 200 student-athletes.
Current IUPUI senior women’s soccer standout Katrina McCrory was the 2009 recipient of the Michael A. Carroll Scholarship. A native of Bloomington, Ind., McCrory ranks among the most decorated student-athletes in the program’s brief history, both athletically and academically.
Your investment in the Mike Carroll Golf Outing allows us to develop well-rounded student-athletes who develop core skills in their academic, social, and athletic lives.
