The flowers in Strip 1 are meant to be fussy cut from a floral fabric. I did not have any that matched well, so I embroidered the design from Strip 2 onto a cutaway stabilizer and used pieces of it instead. It is better to find floral fabric and fussy cut the flowers than to use embroidered flowers. Do not cut the flowers out prior to the class. 2. The embroidery designs will be provided for in-class use. If your machine cannot accept a design via USB stick or if you have a Designer 1 USB, contact the instructor prior to the class. 3. This class requires a hoop that can fit a 64mm x 280mm design (approx. 2-1/2” x 11”). The design cannot be split to fit smaller hoops. 4. The organza used for the pansy embroidery must be nylon.
