Donation Instructions Online Giving You can give a general gift or toward your specific missionary from www.texasbaptists.org/map. If you have filled out this pledge form, you will receive a missionary’s name and account to give toward, and/or you can give a general gift to be used by MAP. All general gifts are used for MAP needs in the field, not administrative costs.

On texasbaptists.org/map, click “Give” This will open a new page to Give to MAP Type in your Donation Amount and click “Select Fund” for a drop-down menu where can select how you want to give – either select “General Fund” or select the name of the missionary you have been assigned – they are listed in order by account code. (This is required.) Mark if this is a one-time gift of if you are giving on a regular basis – if you choose a recurring time, you can choose a date for that donation to start, and your card will be charged that day of the month, quarter, or year. Click “Add Another Gift” if you want to designate another gift – if you have more than one adopted missionary, this is a great option. If you have any comments, you can share them in the next box. If you are donating toward a boat for Brazil, you would select General Fund, then in this note section, write, “donation toward boat for Brazil missionary” or other designation if you have one. You will then enter your donor and billing information Once you hit the submit button, you are done. You will receive an email for your tax records, and we are informed of your gift, and will send them on to the missionary.
Giving by check or money order Your pledge amount can be mailed as well. Make sure to include a donation form so the financial office will know how to process your gift. To print this form, simply go to www.texasbaptists.org/give and click the “GIVING FORMS” tab at the top of the page. Here are your next steps: • • • • • •

Put the donor information in the top left-hand corner of the page Under section III. Church Directed Gifts, list either “MAP general donation” or “MAP Missionary#” (you would put in your specific missionary’s number, similar to 86001-___) List the amount of the gift out beside it and in the “Group 3 Total” box List the amount of the gift in the “Grand Total” box Put your information at the bottom of the form – date, signature, name, email, phone Mail the form and the check or money order to: Texas Baptists 7557 Rambler Rd, Suite 1100 Dallas, TX 75231-2310 You will be sent one letter for all of your donations made to Texas Baptists before April 15 of the following year
