MISSOURI STATE QUICK KICKS
• The Bears 1-0 shutout over Central Arkansas marked head coach Rob Brewer’s 250th career victory and the program’s 188th win. • Earning Valley Newcomer of the Week honors this week, freshman goalkeeper Kaitlin Maxwell had a career night at Central Arkansas as she surpassed her previous single-game saves record with seven stops against UCA. Her efforts led the Bears to their first win of the season, marking Maxwell’s first collegiate victory and shutout. • Prior to the start of the 2017 season, Missouri State was selected seventh in The Valley preseason poll. • Three Bears – Mary Disidore, Rachel Catrell and Brooke Prondzinski – have netted goals this season. Disidore joined Catrell and Prondzinski during MSU’s match at Central Arkansas where she picked up her second career goal. • The Missouri State defense ranks second in the league with 22 saves. MSU goalkeeper Kaitlin Maxwell claims 21 while sophomore defender Lauren Fisher holds one defensive save. • Newcomer Jordan Eickelman is the lone Bear to boast an assist.
