Mityvac MVA7607 Locking Hose Clamp The new Mityvac MVA7607 Locking Hose Clamp is ideal for securely clamping flexible hoses when performing automotive diagnostics or repairs. It has an overall length of 8” (200 mm), with angled jaws for accessing hard-to-reach hoses virtually anywhere on a vehicle. The jaws extend to securely clamp hoses up to 1 ¼” (30 mm) in diameter, and can apply up to 50 lbs (23 kgs) of force. The clamp is molded of tough, lightweight, non-marring glassfilled nylon that is resistant to oil and other common automotive fluids and chemicals. The jaws have a rounded edge that won’t cut into hoses, and the grips are large and rounded for comfort, with non-slip ribs and finger guards. In addition, the clamp features a unique quick-release locking mechanism that automatically secures the jaws in any position, and releases with a simple activation of the easy-to-reach release lever.
