Emergency Equipment: AED on site, Splint kit (containing small, medium and large splint) crutches and spine board. Physician’s medical kit (containing suture materials, IVs and medications for physician use only) when physician is present at competition. Emergency Communication: Dial 911 from a cellular phone.
In case of Emergency: Dial 911 State your name, address and telephone number of caller State the number of athletes and nature of the injury or condition(s) State the current care being given or initiated by first responder State specific directions to emergency scene Give other information requested by dispatcher Stay online until instructed to hang up Send a member of the sports medicine staff to direct EMS Notify an athletic training staff member if one is not present following EMS call
Directions to Moana Park: From US-395 take Moana Lane exit, head West on Moana Lane. Turn South into the park entrance between Baker Lane/ Smith Drive and Lymbery Street. EMS Access: EMS entrance will be the main entrance to the park. Game Management Personnel/ Facilities: Are to keep all non-medical personnel away from medical staff and injured athlete. Inclement Weather: In the case of severe weather, student –athletes, coaches and other university personnel will remain inside.
