Mom and Me Quilt Instructor, Gail Greene The following supplies are based on a finished throw approximately 30” x 40” without a border or binding. Sewing machine in good working order Thread, scissors, seam ripper, pins Rotary cutter, cutting mat and ruler Six 1/3 yard pieces of cotton fabric for top of quilt Wait to get the following items until AFTER you finish your top, in case you decide to make a bigger throw. Backing fabric you will need minimum 1 yd but you may need more as it needs to be at least 3” larger than your top Batting (cotton, poly or blend) at least 2” larger than your top Optional ½ yd cotton fabric for binding
