ABOUT THE CAMPS
MONMOUTH UNIVERSITY Head Women’s Basketball Coach
Day Camp
Jenny Palmateer has finished her fifth season at Monmouth University. Finishing out the 15-16 season with a loss in the Quarterfinals to ultimate MAAC Champion, Quinnipiac University. Palmateer came to Monmouth after serving three Hall of Fame coaches at the University of Virginia (Debbie Ryan), North Carolina State (Kay Yow), and Seton Hall University (Anne Donovan). Palmateer is a 1989 graduate of Hoffman High School in South Amboy. While there, she helped lead the team to four New Jersey State Championships, including the first ever girl's Tournament of Champions Title as a senior. That season, she hit the winning shot in the TOC Semifinals to defeat Pascack Valley in a game played in Boylan Gym, the former home of Monmouth University Basketball.
CAMP STAFF The camp staff consists of coaches and players from Monmouth University’s Division I program.
Sessions 1 & 2 This Day Camp is designed to improve skills, develop friendships, and deepen the love of basketball among a younger group. The morning will begin with different drills followed by activities and basketball games after lunch. Lunch will be provided by Aramark each day. Campers will have the option to swim between 3-4pm if they do not go home at 3pm.
open to any and all entrants, limited only by space available, age, and/or gender.
*NEW REGISTRATION POLICY All camps must be paid in full upon registration. Deadlinefor registration is theThursdaybefore each camp. Walk up registration is subject toa $10 fee. There is a cancellation fee of $25.00

*NEW POLICY FOR MEDICAL FORMS Medical forms MUST be completed by a parent or guardian. FORMS MUST BE BROUGHT IN ON THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP. A mailed form will not be accepted! A separate medical form must be completed for each camp your child will be attending. Copies are accepted. A child will not be allowed to participate without a medical form! DIRECTIONS From the Garden State Parkway: Exit 105. Take Route 36 to Route 71. Turn right onto Route 71, Stay left when it forks into Cedar Ave. Turn right At first light onto Larchwood Ave. Entrance to the University is on the left, follow to Multi Purpose Activity Center.
