LifeWay Kids

Promise At LifeWay, we work hard to know kids. We take time to understand how they play and how they learn. And we know you need resources you can count on to connect kids to God’s Word—leading them toward knowing Christ and growing in relationship with Him. That’s why LifeWay Kids promises to offer resources that are biblically sound, age-appropriate, fun, and easy to use. Our foundational resources and camps help kids hear God’s Word, know God’s Word, and do God’s Word by learning to apply it to their lives.

2011 l itua Spir tion: c Dire reck W p i Sh nd I sl a

More of what kids want and more of what you know they need in their walk with Christ—that’s what CentriKid is about. Kids who have completed 3rd through 6th grade are invited to join us for more in-depth Bible study, exciting recreation, unique track times, and dynamic worship than ever before. We are excited to see what God will do in the lives of your kids this week because He always delivers more than we can ask or imagine!

As part of LifeWay’s four-year Bible study model, kids who attended CentriKid Camp in 2010 and studied “Who We Are” will build on that concept this year as they study “What God Does.” New campers, however, need not have studied the previous concept to fully understand this year’s material.

The voyage of life is a great adventure! Wild and exciting, we anxiously await each thrill along the way. Sometimes, however, the journey can become challenging, unpredictable, and even dangerous as we encounter the storms of life. We may even crash against the rocks and land in unfamiliar places. But of one thing we can be certain: no matter where our voyage takes us, God will always provide. Throughout this week at CentriKid, we’ll be looking at the life of Paul in the book of Acts and learning that we can trust God at all times to provide for us—from our physical and spiritual needs to our direction in life. Philippians 4:19 “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

WHAT you can always expect at our camps A Safe Place to Be 6

We take safety seriously, and we make it a priority with kids. At camp they’ll find a safe place—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Our trained staff values the safety of your kids!

Age-Specific Bible Study Groups

At LifeWay, we’re always learning more about kids. We know they learn differently at each stage of life. We train our staff to teach kids about Christ in a way they can grow and learn with kids their own age. In addition to Bible study, we keep God’s Word at the center of every aspect of camp.

Ministry Through Relationships

Our staff will invest in your kids’ lives by showing the love of God through the way they live. Staffers aren’t performers; they are ministers. Meanwhile, we take care of all the details of camp, so you can focus on relationships with your kids rather than running around with a clipboard, delegating tasks or worrying about picking up the rec field.

Kid-Friendly Programming

We are committed to providing excellent programming that keeps kids engaged. We work hard to stay at the top of our game when it comes to planning and leading recreation, worship, Bible studies, track times, and parties.

Missions Emphasis

Of critical importance to us is helping kids understand every Christian’s call to spread the gospel. As part of our promise to teach kids about missions, we encourage campers to donate to an annual mission offering. This year, we are partnering with the International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board, and all the money your kids give will be used to further IMB’s efforts in South Africa and NAMB’s efforts in Canada, as both agencies strive to share Christ with all people.
