Mornington Racing Club The Melbourne Racing Club is undertaking a refurbishment of the ground floor of the RM Ansett Grandstand to make Mornington Racecourse the premier events destination on the Mornington Peninsula.
STYLISH Entrance Using the latest in design technique and materials, guests will be drawn to the racecourse through an oasis of timber and rock wall’s, creating a unique start to any event. As the door to racecourse, guests will be able to access the Final Furlong Room, the new decking and alfresco dining areas, The Lodge and the Peninsula Room.
The refurbishment of the Mornington Racing Club facilities will provide a cutting edge events destination unsurpassed on the Mornington Peninsula. Modern versatile function spaces will be created for the 2015/16 summer that can cater for multiple functions at the one time, revolutionising the events market on the Peninsula while offering the community with choice of space. The jewel in the crown of the refurbishment is The Lodge, located between the Mounting Yard and the racecourse.
