If you haven’t been with us on Wednesdays in a while, then you’re missing something incredible. Join us this week as Dave shares with us three attributes of the House of God - it is a house of Prayer, Power, and Praise! We will also be answering the question, “Why do some churches teach against women in ministry?” If you’re hungry to know more about the God we serve, you don’t want to miss it!
Today’s Sermon
Revival is coming! Are you ready? On Friday, April 26th, Saturday the 27th, and Sunday morning the 28th we will be experiencing a special time of worship and ministry with our guests, the Kaufman’s. Invite your friends and your family and join us as we focus on the heart’s need for renewal, refreshment, and resurrection. to MTWCOG today!
On Tuesday evening at 7:15 PM, in lieu of our normal rehearsal time, our worship team will once again be gathering together for a time of prayer and intercession for our congregation. Our prayer time this past week was incredible - and this week can only be better. We would also like to extend a special invitation to those in our congregation who feel a call to intercessory prayer; come out and join us! Join us this Friday, April 19th at 7 PM for a night of worship and praise with our special guests, the worship ministry team of Evangel World Prayer Center. Listen today as Pastor Scott shares more about this exciting time of connection and fellowship with other believers in our community.
As you may have noticed, we were blessed to be able to replace the carpet in our fellowship hall and Sunday School classes recently. We hope you enjoy the upgrade to the house of God - we hope you agree that His house deserves to look sharp!
Oh, Lord; send revival
May 19th is our Pastors’ Appreciation Sunday. It’s a day that we set aside to honor those who carry the mantle of leadership and labor among us. Keep watching your bulletin for more information about this special day of appreciation! On May 26th, we will be having a Remembrance Day Service (in honor of the Memorial Day holiday). Pastor Dave is preparing a special presentation that will include photos of our loved ones we have lost in our lives to heaven. If you have a photo of someone spe-
cial in your life that has gone on to be with the Lord, you can share that with Pastor Dave between now and May 12th (pictures will be returned). Help us celebrate and honor those who are resting now in the presence of the Lord by sharing your pictures today.
Every summer, all of the Church of God congregations in the state of Kentucky gather together in Lexington for a time of fellowship and worship in an event we call our Kentucky State Camp-meeting. This year our camp-meeting will be held th from June 10 until June 14th. In the coming weeks we will be sharing more details about this event.
